Visit  Svaneti , surrounded by the gigantic, snow-capped peaks of the high Caucasus. It is one of the most remarkable and picturesque regions of Georgia, if not of the whole world.

Day 1 - Tbilisi - Arrival Day
Upon arrival in Tbilisi you will be met by our representative and will be taken to your hotel room.
After breakfast  we will  start our tour to the direction of Svaneti.

  • Svaneti -  one of the most ancient and historical provinces of Georgia,is located on the southern slopes of the Caucasus mountain range,on the territory running between the Enguri and Tskhenistskali Rivers. Surrounded by the gigantic, snow-capped peaks of the high Caucasus, Svaneti is one of the most remarkable and picturesque regions of Georgia, if not of the whole world.You will enjoy a relaxing scenery as you drive along the endless and violent Enguri River and gorges of spectacular Caucasus Mountains.

  • Lagami - a village near Mestia, the church of Christ in Lagami is a good example of traditional basilica style architecture. According to local legend, the first floor of the church dates back to the 13th century. It is well known for its frescos and the church's facade includes fragments of the original paintings.

Arrival in Mestia, dinner and overnight at  the hotel.

Day 2  - Mestia - Ushguli  (45 km, app. 3 hours diving)
After breakfast we will visit the  historical and ethnographic museum of Mestia.

  • Historical and ethnographic museum of Mestia houses manuscripts from the 10th and 12thcenturies, religious tracts from the 9th-11th centuries, icons, metal and other artifacts of the 14th – 16th century, gold coins of the antique and late antique periods and several Bronze Age treasures.

Afterwards we will leave  for the village Ushguli.

  • Ushguli - middle age fortification, surrounded by the 5,000 m giants of the Caucasus Mountain range. It is considered to be one of the highest populated places in the world (2,200m above sea level). Here we will have a short trek towards the foot of  the mount Shkhara. On the way we will visit Svan dwelling complexes.

Day 3 Mestia -Zugdidi -Tbilisi (490 km, app. 8-9 hours driving)
After breakfast we will  drive back to Tbilisi. On the way we will visit Dadianis Castle in Zugdidi.

  • Dadiani  Castle- The palace of the Dadiani family (old lords of Samegrelo), a castle-like building from the 17th to 19th centurie   is now the Dadiani Museum. The most unusual exhibit is one of Napoleon Bonaparte's three bronze death masks, acquired via a 19th-century marriage between a Dadiani and a descendant of Napoleon's sister. The wooded botanical gardens beside the park are worth a stroll.

This is the end of the tour. Regarding your flight departure time, we will arrange your transfer to В the airport for your international flight back home.
